I had the pleasure of watching Althoff and Goodwin vs. Urbana this evening in Collinsville. We only stayed for the first half. However, Althoff was crushing Urbana by a score of 54-26 at the half. First things first, Althoff is tremendous! I have a hard time believing that there are more talented teams in the state of Illinois regardless of division. With regards to Goodwin, please excuse my language, "he is a grown a** MAN." He is big, strong, quick, strong, strong, can jump, and is strong. My man is sporting a mustache as a junior in high school! Althoff looked like an under 40 year old YMCA team playing against some young high school kids. Bottom line, I would love to see Goodwin in C-U. Observed strenghts were he has a B1G body right now, can handle the ball, has a nose for the rock, and strikes me as an unselfish winner. Based upon my one observation, needs to work on the jumper from behind the 3 point line. Would love to get an early commit.
