Happy New Year everyone! Last day of Bowl Week with 5 bowls lined up.
Outback Bowl
Michigan (-8.5) vs. S. Carolina (O/U 42.5)
11:00 a.m. CST ESPN2
The line keeps moving up (it’s actually just moved to -9) but I got in at -7 after I bought a half point. I like the Over in this game as well.
Peach Bowl
Auburn (-12) vs. Central Florida (O/U 68)
11:30 a.m. CST ESPN
I’m rooting hard for CF in this game but I think Auburn is just too much. Hopefully auburn comes out flat and not caring after hoping to play in the final 4 and now has to play “lowly” CF. But auburn will probably win by two scores.
Citrus Bowl
LSU (-3.5) vs. Notre Dame (O/U 51.5)
12:00 p.m. CST ABC
I hate Notre Dame. They have slid into this bowl game looking pretty pedestrian, meanwhile LSU has won 6 of 7 with its only loss in that stretch to Alabama. Maybe the month off has revitalized the Irish. Let’s hope not. LSU wins.
Rose Bowl (Semifinal #1)
Georgia (-3) vs. Oklahoma (O/U 62)
4:00 p.m. CST ESPN
I like Oklahoma in this game. It all hinges on Baker Mayfield and his play and health. Drinking game: 1 sip after every time that the word “flu” is said in this game. But just a sip, as we have another game after this one.
Sugar Bowl (Semifinal #2)
Alabama (-3) vs. Clemson (O/U 47.5)
7:45 p.m. CST ESPN
I like Clemson in this game. Defensive injuries have hurt the Alabama defense. A first time starting signal caller on Defense will be a tough job against the Clemson offense.
