According to this fan (who knows if he is crazy or not), he claimed MSU football had either 100 or 200 (not a great phone connection) potential recruits on campus (not all officials) on the football side. He also said they had a few 5-stars on the basketball side around as well. Add that to Le'veon Bell shown on the game telecast and Draymond Green was in town with the NBA trophy as well.
Shows how critical the success of the football program is. The two decades of sub .400 win percentage followed by the Beckman era of even lower winning has hurt more than just the football team.
