But I still think Groce has a chance to win big here. The way this season ended has certainly put a cloud over him. His best traits have been the way he motivates, and team gave up. Not good. Clearly, changes need to be made and momentum needs to change. Guys like Nunn and Hill need to grow into leaders.
Many saw Self-like qualities in Groce. Few differences, Self had more experience, and Self had a superstar staff. Roberts, Billy G, Jank, etc. Say what you want about those guys, they all can coach. I'd start there.
It's been beaten to death, but we need another PG for next year. Do whatever it takes for Lovett or Murray.
Lastly, pray Groce isn't Dan Monson, who I also thought was good at one point....
