I'm just dreaming out loud here and selling myself on how all of this NFL experience on our staff is going to be unstoppable in winning players over to our side. I feel that lately Lovie seems to be gaining recruiting traction, it seems to be a combination of being settled in to the job long enough to formulate a recruiting strategy and a little extra oomph out of frustrations caused by losing out on some key recruits. So we've got Lovie, Nickerson, Abraham and now Byrd with NFL pedigrees, that's a lot, and we've got recruiting classes that although they have had seem spotty hits here and there, they are basically mostly players that have "potential" that needs to be developed, not too many "sure thing" recruits. Does the NFL resumes of these coaches really help in recruiting, or is it really just personality - ala Ron Zook? UM & tOSU & PSU are reeling in whatever they want, do we stand a chance now?
