Just got off the phone with my IFund rep. He told me that there were over 1000 season tickets sold for Footaball just today, and that they have taken over 900 IFund donations, again, just today. Said he has people calling, emailing and texting him about making donations for the first time in a long time. Said it was a huge change from a few weeks ago where it was him calling people and trying to set up a meeting, and people refused. Same people are now calling him to set up a meeting. This can only come out as a positive message to the DIA and the Administration, dunno about the University Administration. Damn, we have the same players we had last week, but all because of one great coaching hire, now we have buzz (positive and negative) on all sorts of media, donations are up, ticket sales are up, and we don't even have a football staff yet! Whitman should be able to sell all sorts of ideas if this keeps up, and it's only day 3 of his tenure! Does he get to rest on the 7th day? Love this!!!
