They are winning and looking good doing it. Their board is now turning Cream friendly and all is well in Hoosier Land. But are they that good or just schedule happy? I really don't know, but the confidence from the team is growing, so that might help them. In B10 games, they finish up the first half with Wisc. and Minnesota. So the combined B10 records of there first 9 opponents, which should be .500, is 24-48 (assuming Minn will be 0-8 entering that game).
I think their last half of the B10 season will be interesting once they play the better teams. They still have not faced Maryland, Purdue, Iowa, Michigan or Michigan State. Illini might even be sitting at 4-3 with that schedule.
