Thomas spends thousands of dollars for an external review, and is "shocked and angered" by the results? GMAB. I wasn't born yesterday. That's nothing more than a) abdicating responsibility to avoid accountability and 2) righteous indignation to try to be on the "right" side of this when the shit hit the fan.
This should have been handled by the athletic department, and it should have been cleared up last spring, not a week before the season starts.
I seriously doubt that this was Mike Thomas' decision to make, regardless of what he said at the press conference. It just does not add up.
