I am certain that I will be accused of being naïve, but I read again and again how behind we are in our facilities, relative to peer Big 10 teams. But was not that long ago when we were all very proudly discussing the amazing new weight room built under the North end, and the recruiting lounges,facilities that came with that. Is the arms race and college football really getting that out of hand? I am resigned to the fact that Illinois 'needs' this upgrade to compete, but damn. What is next? Surely it doesn't stop with this updrade? <Yes it does and stop calling us Shirley>
