China really does have numerous problems. My youngest worked for Target HQ in supply chain after college for two years. Now he consults big box retailers and their suppliers.
He told me they have been moving more and more products out of China the last five months as they anticipated this. When we spoke last week, he said they are having numerous meetings a week actively finding new suppliers outside of China. Three years ago he spent his days planning and ordering containers filled with holiday merchandise from China. He said it is crazy how actively they are moving this business.
Xi should have been first in line for a deal with Trump as soon as he heard the word tariff in January.
Special elections don’t bring out the same numbers. Is there something to learn about this? The thread has lots of posts with comparisons. I’m not sure the points are relevant.

Most of us have known this for years. Scott isn’t unique. He’s just the first one that has bothered you. Weird.
CNN is a mix of news and political theater. More straight news in the morning and political theater afternoon and evening. Has been that ways for years.
I guess Scott really needed the gig and became a MAGA clown. What bothers me is people who so easily sell their principles for a paycheck. Would have respected Scott if he would have stuck with his principles and left CNN. CNN could have replaced him with a true MAGA clown, there are plenty of them out there. If you think it is being weird to shake my head at political commentators who are playing a role and don't believe what they are saying for the money then so be it. I can live with that.

It’s amazing that you have never questioned the authenticity of any other CNN panel members.
It’s slanted much more towards political theatre than news.
To be honest, Scott Jennings was the only person on CNN I paid attention to. He was a typical Reagan conservative in a sea of liberal thought on CNN. It is sad to see him become a MAGA clown. Certainly has no credibility now because who knows what he believes. Similar to Vance in that regard.
Everyone else on CNN seems to be sort of the same and I haven't really paid much attention. Scott stood out because he was a political unicorn on CNN.

Many people on the left see Musk's actions as destructive and harmful. Do you rejoice when Soros takes action?
It really isn't that complicated.
Soros funding anti semitic “protests” seems a little different than what Musk is doing. I guess that is philanthropic to those that hate the west. The Dems used to celebrate Musk and all of his work to help make our future better. Now they encourage those that firebomb his dealerships, and celebrate his stock dropping.

Like I said, I didn't pay much attention to anyone else. I became familiar with Scott from his commentaries on the CNN website. He worked for the Bush White House and I welcomed his viewpoint on CNN. I couldn't tell you the names of most of the other commentators.
I used to frequent the CNN website but now it is mostly behind a paywall. Cuomo was always a goof and I didn’t ever watch him.

Elon is trying to update the US government's antiquated computer systems while searching for fraud, waste and abuse while working for free and to his detriment. This is valuable whether you want to admit it or not.
Soros has funded soft on crime DAs accross major cities. He has also been linked to leftwing anarchist groups. I believe his son was at Jotato's WH about 20 times. I am guessing this loon was behind a lot of what was happening in the US under Biden. Jeff doesn't believe the Biden administration was good, but Soros is fine?? 🤣
