I honestly really like the direction of the football program. Given the situation that Cubit is in, he has done an outstanding job of putting together a solid staff. I think we're on the cusp of securing more in-state talent. We now have some coaches on staff that have ties to some of the traditional Illinois high school power programs and that should bode well. I think we're going to have an eight or nine game winning season in 2016-2017, which should help the program build some more momentum.
Need to address who will be our starting QB once Lunt is finished. I'm hoping we can land a big time QB recruit in our next class.
We were a better team than our record indicated this year. Getting a healthy Dudek back will be a HUGE boost to our offense this upcoming season.
