Seriously, there is all this talk of a need for IL to improve various facilities. But I have a much less expensive solution that I think would pay bigger dividends.
In the area where our athletes eat/study/etc., I would build the most bad @ss fish tank/tanks I could fund. They would have all sorts of cool fish, and possibly even a few of those sharks that don't eat everything. Keep a paid person with the experience of maintaining this awesome tank on the DIA staff.
We all talk about distinguishing ourselves, but I'm almost certain this would be something notable to the younger demographic that would generate a ton of buzz. Oregon may have Nike, but we have the sickest fish tanks this side of Sea World.
