Not sure if this factors in transfers or not - Illinois ranked at 70 - higher than I would have expected, but still good for last in B1G. Seems like USF is poised to take a step back so game is more winnable that I thought. Nice to have the first two games to maybe settle on QB and get settled into offense. If we can 4-2 somehow in those first 6 games that would set us to sneak into a bowl just having to win 2 of 5 against a group of MD, Minny, Neb, Iowa, NW.
A 5th year QB like Dawkins from AZ could really help elevate the season for Illinois. Fingers crossed.
