i was looking to see if it is considered a dead ball foul and would not have negated the touchdown - I found this:
GAME ADMINISTRATION/SIDELINE INTERFERENCE
The NCAA had previously assessed a five yard penalty for sideline interference; the enforcement of that penalty, however, is being modified this season.
“A coach that’s even in the white area on our field and interferes with an official trying to track in the white area working his position” will be assessed a sideline interference penalty, Laurie said. A sideline warning, which is administered as a dead ball foul, will be assessed for a first infraction with no yardage penalty.
“What it does is that it makes both sidelines aware that they need to have the players and coaches off the field,” Laurie added.
The second and third infractions are a flag and a five yard penalty; subsequent infractions will be assessed an automatic 15 yard penalty.
“This is something that the NCAA has been a point of emphasis for several years,” Laurie said. “We’re getting our coaches on board with what this rule is and what it’s about.”

seems like the refs biffed that - i do not remember a warning being announced, and if it was- should have been a 5 yard penalty, not a 15 yard as assessed
**Sorry - feel free to add this to the Turning Point thread
