Happy New Years Eve everyone! I just got done injecting and rubbing down a ribeye roll for tonight. Scallops and shrimp will go along with it as well. Going to grill out more wings, burgers, and brats for lunch.
6 games today, and on paper none of them look all that great; outside of maybe Oregon vs MSU. But I’m sure with that many games, a couple of them will prove worthy of watching. 10-2 Cincinnati (-6.5) vs 6-6 Virginia Tech (O/U 52.5) 11:00am ESPN
It’s been a weird year for the Hokies. Consistently inconsistent. It wouldn’t surprise me if they won by 20 or lost by 20. Cincy is 10-2, but their best win is probably USF. I’m going to roll the dice and bet on VT to win the game.

8-4 Stanford (-4) vs 7-6 Pittsburgh (O/U 52) 1:00pm CBS
I think Stanford wins this easily. Pitt will shoot themselves in the foot with penalties because that’s what they do. They are also limping into the bowl game. But after being thumped by a very average Miami team and Clemson. Stanford has won 3 in a row. I look for Whiteside, the Stanford WR, to have a big day.

8-4 Oregon (-1.5) vs 7-5 Michigan State (O/U 46.5) 2:00pm FOX
I think that there will be more scoring in this game than expected. I look for Oregon to have some success running the ball. I’m taking Oregon and the over.
AUTOZONE LIBERTY BOWL
8-4 Missouri (-8.5) vs 6-6 Oklahoma State (O/U 72.5) 2:45pm ESPN
One way to hurt the tigers is through the air and okie state does that well. Still, the Missouri offense is too good for the Cowboy defense and the Tigers win by 2 TDs.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY CREDIT UNION HOLIDAY BOWL
9-4 Utah (-7) vs 8-5 Northwestern (O/U 45) 6:00pm FS1
I think both teams could struggle offensively in this game. So I’m going for the under again. I hope northwestern loses.

8-4 Texas A&M (-7) vs 9-3 NC State (O/U 56.5) 6:30pm ESPN
I expect the Aggies to win comfortably, if not in a blowout. I’ll also bet the over. I love the Aggie RB Williams, and I expect a big day from him.
