I just read this article in the News Gazette, and wonder if the same topic will surface very soon?

Maybe the independent law firm hired to investigate the Illini Football program & Women's Bball program found proof of foul play w/ medical records, or some other serious infractions.
It could be a reason why Groce hasn't been able to announce his new "Assistant to the Head Coach" hire, which I heard yesterday.
I realize this is all speculation, but could this be the end of the Mike Thomas era? I guess we'll wait and see, but the timing of this News Gazette article has me thinking... Thoughts?
If MT was fired, or forced to resign for specific findings in the internal investigation, and/or other things, I wonder if Beckman would be on the hook as well, and if Wise & BOT would do a clean sweep. (MT & Beckman).
If that happened, I'm assuming Groce would be safe at least for this upcoming seasons or until after a new AD was hired.
Again, I don't have any proof of any of this. I haven't heard any of it, and I wasn't even sure if I should post anything, but the timing of the article was very interesting, and this is a message board for us to comment and share opinions about everything Illini.
