Something to think about regarding this year. First time ever we had a 3 non-conf and 9 conf schedule. Adding to the increased difficulty was 2 of the non-conf teams spent time/finished in top 25. So when you compare our record to last couple of years we did not get the benefit of 3 non-conf wins. Added was that a team with little depth had to run through a physical 9 game stretch.
These things add up. The key to me as many others have said is QB. We need someone that can make plays with their feet, that can change the dynamic of everything.
