Honestly, I have been kind of down on the entire ahtletic program. Basketball has been a huge disappointment filled with injuries and poor performance. Lately though, I must admit Coach Cubit and his new staff have been impressive. They have obviously worked their collective tails off attempting to recruit players to fill some huge holes. I believe they have pulled through and deserve a lot of credit for the quality and talent brought in to date.
It also appears last weekend's Junior Day went really well. Some positive energy and vibes everywhere. This is exactly what we need and, hopefully, the 2016 season will be successful. Winning cures a lot of problems for certain. Let's hope Coach Cubit and his new coaches can pull off a strong season.
