The Big Ten Network should bring back J Leman. As far as I am concerned, Matt Millen sucks. He has a monotone delivery and just doesn’t have that much to say of interest outside of the obvious.
His broadcast partner today was the squirly guy who does Big Ten eats. I thought the showing of the 1924 expenditures for the Northwestern versus Illinois game at Cub Stadium was fascinating. Of course, squirrel said the Illinois team bussed by coach up from Champaign. I wonder why there was a bill for the Illinois central train. I remember going to the station in Champaign to watch Army disembark from the train. That was in the 60s. My dad wanted to see the West pointers as he was in the army officer in World War II.
