Heard Bret Bielema talk at a Liberty Bowl dinner last week (AR plays K-State Jan 2nd in the Liberty Bowl).
He actually was pretty funny. He was asked, "What are the basic differences between the SEC and the Big Ten?"
He answered, "When we were at Wisconsin we had a pretty consistently good offensive line. Our defensive line was far less deep. In the SEC, you need MUCH more depth in the D-Line- it's crucial. And also, in the SEC you'll find one or two game changers on both sides of the ball on every team."
By the way, he also wins the Hot Coach's Wife award! Look her up. Married 3 years.
He's coaching against Bill Snyder of K-State who was an Ass't under Hayden Fry at Iowa when Bielema played there. Bielema was a walk-on.
