Brad, just a couple quick questions for you about Lucas after watching a few of his highlight reels...
He appears to have an odd shot in his highlights from this summer. Odd setup and he doesn't appear to get off the ground much when he takes a jump shot. I assume that his shooting is something he'll need to work on. Is that something he has acknowledged he needs to work on or something he already is? Also, how much work do you think he'll need on his offensive game when he gets to campus? I know he's been scoring well lately, has he really made that big of strides over the last couple months? He appears to be a pretty solid passer.
He appears to be pretty quick, but lack explosiveness. Is this much of a concern with a point guard? I know Malcolm having that same problem worried some, but shooting guards usually have some bounce whereas not a high percentage of point guards are that type of guy.
Lastly, when he first committed and I watched highlights, I had a bad feeling he was Tate 2.0. Good passer, defender, but not much of a scorer (at the Big Ten level). With the strides he's made since committing, how confident are you that he'll at least be a decent offensive threat in the Big Ten?
