Jordan Murphy, Minnesota

F – Sr. – 6-7 – San Antonio, Texas – Brennan High School – Communication Studies

  • Averaged 21.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 53.6 percent from the floor in two games vs. Indiana and Nebraska
  • Posted double-doubles in both games to give him 18 this season, second-most in the NCAA
  • Recorded 23 points and 11 rebounds along with three assists in Gophers’ win over Indiana
  • Registered 19 points, 13 rebounds and three assists at Nebraska
  • Murphy has a Minnesota record 63 double-doubles in his career
  • Leads the Big Ten in rebounds per game in all games (11.9 rpg), which is fourth in the nation
  • Tops the conference in rebounds per game in Big Ten-only games (11.0 rpg)
  • With 1,219 career rebounds, stands second in Big Ten history behind Ohio State’s Jerry Lucas (1,411)
  • Earns the sixth Big Ten Player of the Week honor of his career and the second of the season
  • First Gopher to earn six career Big Ten Player of the Week honors

Ayo Dosunmu, Illinois

G – 6-5 – Chicago, Ill. – Morgan Park High School – Division of General Studies

  • Scored 15 points, grabbed four rebounds and handed out three assists as Illinois won at Ohio State for the first time since 2009
  • Illinois has won four games in a row, the longest active win streak in the Big Ten, with Dosunmu scoring in double-figures in all four wins
  • Scored nine of the Illini’s final 15 points including a clutch 3-pointer with 29 seconds left in the game in Columbus
  • Ranks second among freshmen in scoring in conference games (15.1 ppg)
  • Earns his second Freshman of the Week honor in as many weeks
