Someone asked about attendance numbers in another thread.
From an article in the NG today;
— Illinois' last Big Ten game — a 16-point rout of Rutgers nine days ago — was seen in person by a crowd of 6,212. That's fewer fans than turned out for Yale (7,525), Western Carolina (7,570) or any other men's basketball game this season at SFC.
The actual average crowd for all 11 SFC games is 9,352 — considerably less than the 12,777 announced average you'll find in the official stats sections on ncaa.org, bigten.org and fightingillini.com.
