Dustin Ford makes the substitutions. JFG isn't even consulted. Maybe there is a pre-arranged plan for the substitutions, but that is allowing 0 for game flow. I guess JFG has too much more to worry about besides deciding who is determining his career fate. Seems pretty wierd to me. Sometimes John will make a substitution on his own, but not very often. So it would seem that it DOES matter who the assistant(s) is(are), since they determine who plays, besides being responsible for position player development.
