Just talked with St. Louis WR Kyren Williams about his visit to Illinois today. A couple notes from our conversation:
-he said there were a bunch of St. Louis guys there so the atmosphere was very comfortable.
-The St. Louis kids are definitely noticing the focus put on the city and were talking amongst themselves about what they could accomplish if they all went there together.
-Illinois sees Kyren as a scat back in their offense. He likes the fit and said it is a similar role to what he does now in HS.
-No rush on a decision from Kyren. He’s still accumulating offers and hasn’t started to narrow his list yet.
