I see good and bad. Good - Instant credibility with recruits and parents. All of these kids want a shot at the NFL, and Lovie was after all a decent coach and seems well thought of within the league.
Ball hawking D. I would expect an immediate uptick in the amount of TO's recovered, which statistically probably results in more wins at the College level than the Pros.
Smarter defensive game plans. I'm a fan of the 4-3 in the BIG, let's face it there is more ground and pound then there is all out aerial attacks, and the base of Lovie's D is the 4-3.
High quality individual that will be represent the University well, which we need BADLY!

Bad - My main concern with Lovie was his inability to put together an Offensive Staff. He took over the Bears without having an OC in his pocket, took a Clown that a former boss recommended, then went thru OCs like grease through a goose. If he can do a reverse Mackovic, find his offensive Tepper, look out. Tepper was one of the brightest and best DCs, just never should have been a head man.

Hard to say what outweighs what, but if this is true we definitely have a substantial upgrade. I might even add a $1 or two to my I FUND donation this year!
