I just saw that Charlie Campbell of Walterfootball.com has Devon Witherspoon as the #18 pick of the first round in next years draft. The site has him as the #2 CB. Campbell is usually one of the top "mock-drafters" out there (they actually have a scorecard for mock draft accuracy on the site). Based on Campbell's comments, he seems fairly connected to NFL GM/Scout types. Not sure I agree with the lofty rating, but good Illini press nonetheless.
