At 6'5", 352 pounds, Vederian Lowe is a big boy, and now he's starting to attract interest from some big programs.
"I heard from Minnesota today," Lowe told GI on September 1st, the first day coaches could really start the recruiting process with juniors. "I spoke with coaches from Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Illinois too. Besides Illinois, they would like me to come for a game and visit the campus. I have already been to a couple games at Illinois."
His excitement should come as no surprise. Lowe has three different connections to the program.
"I played against Croft from Boylan. Our sophomore coach has a brother on the coaching staff, Coach Anderson. Also, my uncle is married to a woman who is related to running back Jeff Jones."
Right now, the 5.6 three-star's only offer is from Illinois.
