I'm really starting to think 2016 has got to be it for Groce. I know many other's are having a hard time understanding why Illinois can not recruit a PG or PG's in general.
If one of the prime PG targets doesn't land at Illinois, it's been a monumental failure in recruiting strategy and intelligence.
And a new coach has to be sought out that can promise he will specialize in recruiting PG's. Two straight coaching administration's have failed the fandom in garnering what is college basketball's most important position. Groce came in with the promise of being a PG friendly coach, and nearly four years down the road, we are in the same position we were in with Weber running the show.
If I remember correctly, that was a bone of contention with him, to many wings, no ballhandlers. Seems like we're there again.
