What do you want to see from our team in terms of football season coverage this year?
We are finalizing things and would like your input.
The plan so far:
* Camp coverage. Daily updates and observations from camp, including post practice interviews, depth chart updates, outstanding players, etc.
* Preview series. Continuing with our preview series, we will preview each position with the coaching staff and players. Previews of the offense and defense with Garrick McGee and Hardy Nickerson.
* Game week: Lovie Smith press conference. Player interviews. 'Behind enemy lines' with beat writers covering Illini opponents. Game previews. Columns from John Supinie on the top storylines of the week. List of visiting recruits.
* Game day: Message board game thread. (We are looking to expand the game day experience by having a guest blogger. Those plans aren't finalized yet).
* Post game: Rapid reaction (instant analysis of the keys to the game). Post game press conference coverage, including video. Photo gallery. 'Turning points' (detailed analysis of the game film). Interviews with visiting recruits.
What else do you want to see? I'm especially interested to hear your ideas on how to improve our coverage on game day. Thanks.
